Understanding Efficiency & Operating Costs

Although the efficiency of your cooling & heating equipment will have the greatest impact on you energy usage, other items will help you reduce costs of energy.

   Cool or heat only occupied rooms:

Zoning or programmable thermostats can control your equipment according to your family’s lifestyle and daily occupancy routine.  This will help eliminate water energy on unused rooms.

  Keep your equipment cleaned and serviced at least once a year:

Regular scheduled maintenances are very important to your systems maximum efficiency.

 Check and change your air filters regularly:

      Filters should generally be replaced every month when the system is  running.

  Set you thermo-stat at 68 degrees in the winter and 78 degrees in the summer.

           To cut cost off of your electric bill.
